Complete renovation of a 240 m² house spread over 3 floors
A large three-story house with an impressive 240 m² to completely rethink and renovate from top to bottom… This was the challenge taken on by Marie Arara, much to the delight of a lovely Parisian family seeking more space and tranquility in Nantes.
A bit of demolition and a lot of insulation work—this sums up the first phase of this complete renovation. The layout was reimagined: the living areas were moved to the ground floor to make the most of the garden. To achieve this, load-bearing walls were taken down, and part of the garage was repurposed. A semi-open kitchen connecting to the dining room was created, new joinery was installed, and the floors were revitalized: solid wood parquet here, charming cement-effect tiles there…
The upper floors are dedicated to ensuring privacy for everyone. The first floor features the master suite, two bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom. On the second floor, there’s a guest room, an office, and a playroom.
The entire renovated space is decorated in soft tones, with discreet storage solutions and custom furniture, resulting in a warm and inviting atmosphere that we love!
