Since 2002, Marie Ararà Studio has developed interior architecture projects from a vision that unites aesthetic sensitivity, technical rigor and a deep understanding of place.
Specialized in residential, hospitality and commercial projects, the studio accompanies each project from creative conception through to final realisation.
Each interior is conceived as a unique piece, where architecture, light, materiality and way of living come together within a global vision.

A Franco-Mediterranean perspective

I was born in Barcelona, between modernist architecture and artisan craftsmanship. I grew up between two cultures: a French mother from a family of artists, where the love of beauty was a way of life, and a father from the Costa Brava, creator of his own fashion house.

Art, workshops, fabrics, runway shows. The Mediterranean and creation were part of my world from a very young age.

French elegance taught me proportion, discretion and savoir-faire. Mediterranean culture connected me to light, materiality, hospitality and a more sensory way of living.

Between the two, the identity of the studio was born: a balance between refinement and naturalness, between precision and emotion, between quiet beauty and deeply lived-in spaces.

Not imposing a style. Revealing an identity.

I have never been interested in imposing a recognizable style. What I have developed instead is a perspective: a sensibility built over more than twenty years, enriched by very different cultures, architectures and ways of living.

Each project is born from a place, an architecture and the people or brands who inhabit it — from a family memory, an art collection, a hotel identity or the soul of the building itself.

My work consists of listening, interpreting and revealing that potential. I don't hand out formulas. I create deeply personal interiors, designed to move, function and endure.

Architecture, materiality and craftsmanship

I work alongside an established network of artisans, artists, manufacturers and collaborators with whom I have long shared the same standard: respect for noble materials, well-executed detail and work carried out with intelligence and sensitivity.

Savoir-faire holds a central place in the studio. Not as a decorative word, but as a way of working: knowing the crafts, understanding materiality, valuing the hand behind the work, anticipating execution and always seeking the fairest solution for each project.

Bespoke furniture, lighting, cabinetry, kitchens, special pieces, textiles, art and objects come together within a single vision, where every element contributes to building a coherent atmosphere.

Design with sensitivity and rigor

Beauty is not only a visual matter.
An interior must be felt. It must bring calm, clarity, wellbeing and a more natural way of living or hosting.

That is why every project is approached with a dual demand: aesthetic sensitivity and technical rigor. Layout, light, materials, functionality, durability, budget, logistics and execution are all part of the same conversation.

My experience with complex projects has taught me that good design is not only about imagining a beautiful space, but about making it possible, viable and lasting.

The studio's methodology can be summed up in three movements:
Listening to the place, the client, the architecture and the history.
Revealing the hidden potential: what the space can become.
Elevating that understanding into an experience where architecture, materiality, light, furniture and atmosphere flow together naturally.
Each phase unfolds with clarity, precision and guidance, so that the client can experience the project with confidence from the first conversation through to final delivery.
