Complete renovation of a comfortable apartment, interior architecture.
Located in a peaceful area in Carquefou, this 91m² apartment on the top floor quickly emerged as a project full of potential, despite its initially outdated style. With a full west-facing exposure, it enjoys abundant natural light that gives it its charm. The space simply needed to be reinterpreted to reveal its true personality.
From the outset of the project, we made the decision to respect the time constraints of the renovations while keeping the original layout of the spaces. This solid foundation allowed us to focus our creativity on the interior design and layout, transforming the apartment into a living space that is both modern and timeless. We envisioned a soft and calming environment, where every element blends harmoniously. Light materials were used to maximize natural light, enhanced by darker wood species that add depth and warmth to the overall space.
All the furniture was carefully designed and custom-made by the MA Design agency, with a focus on both elegance and functionality. The living room is distinguished by a stunning walnut bookshelf, crafted to perfectly fit the space and serve as a true focal point of the room. The kitchen, on the other hand, was designed in soft, harmonious tones, with understated and refined finishes that naturally blend with the rest of the apartment. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to provide optimal comfort and a polished aesthetic.
The entire project was designed to create a balance between modernity, comfort, and practicality, while never losing sight of the warm and welcoming atmosphere the owners desired. Through this approach, we succeeded in transforming the apartment into a true cocoon—bright, functional, and full of character.
