Interior Design Renovation of a Real Estate Agency

The Vivre Ici Nantes Cathédrale Agency underwent a deep transformation in just one month, without the need for heavy construction work. The goal was to modernize the space, making it brighter, more airy, and welcoming while preserving its original structure. The renovation focused on optimizing the spaces and improving internal circulation to offer clients a more pleasant experience as soon as they arrived.

Initially, the layout seemed balanced, with well-defined volumes and a structured reception area. However, upon visiting the space, we noticed a lack of storage and a poorly placed office in the center, obstructing the flow towards the spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. We decided to partition the office using an ultra-modern glass wall. This solution, perfect for a small space, preserves the natural light while structuring the office without completely enclosing it.

The reception area, previously dark and cluttered with mismatched furniture, was also redesigned. This space, which serves as both a waiting and reception area, needed to remain fluid while providing direct access to the offices and upper floors. To better define the different functions of the reception, we opted for floor markings that help clients intuitively navigate the new layout.

To add a touch of originality and modernity, we selected the White Spirit wallpaper, designed by Pascale Risbourg. This trompe-l’œil panel, in monochrome 2D, features a collage with striking relief effects that naturally attract the eye. With this minimalist yet carefully thought-out approach, the agency is now more welcoming and harmonious, meeting the needs of both its visitors and its teams.
