Total Renovation of a Large Restaurant, Interior Architecture

For the La Route des Épices restaurant, we had the pleasure of completing a comprehensive design project, a creative and bold mission carried out in collaboration with Hotels and Islands. In four months, this vast 750 m² interior space and 600 m² terrace project transformed the restaurant into a true sensory journey, where each room celebrates a different spice.

We designed several unique spaces: the Pepper Room, with intense red and black colors; the Turmeric Room, dressed in warm yellow and orange tones; and the Coffee Room, with brown shades evoking warmth and comfort. Each of these immersive atmospheres invites visitors to discover a singular universe while savoring the diversity of flavors offered.

To optimize spaces, we designed a custom, removable buffet that is modular to adapt to different services and restaurant configurations. The custom-made furniture integrates harmoniously into each room, reinforcing the unique identity of the place. A Nantes artist personalized the walls by creating inspired murals, adding an artistic dimension that enriches the customer experience.

From the choice of materials and colors to consulting with companies, and including order and construction monitoring, our intervention was comprehensive to ensure a turnkey project. La Route des Épices is now a place where the elegance of the layout blends with the authenticity of spices, offering guests a culinary experience that is as visual as it is gustatory.
