Complete Design of a New Apartment, Interior Architecture
Located in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, near Nantes, this complete design project for a new apartment in VEFA (Sale in Future State of Completion) posed a stimulating challenge. The owners, who had acquired this new apartment, wanted their new living space to accommodate all their furniture and belongings from their previous 200m² house, despite the apartment being half the size.
Our mission was to find clever, custom solutions to integrate each piece of furniture while optimizing space. Through thoughtful design and clever layout, we successfully met the challenge: all the furniture fit harmoniously within the interior, providing the clients with a new home that was both functional and filled with their memories. A custom design that successfully combined practicality and aesthetics while respecting the owners’ aspirations.
Challenge accomplished!
We intervened well before the owners moved in, working closely with the builder from the early stages of the project. This foresight allowed us to modify the initial plans, minimizing adjustments once the building was completed. By rethinking the walls and pathways, we ensured optimal flow within the apartment and created a seamless, functional living space perfectly tailored to the owners’ needs.
One of the standout features of this project was the custom design of many furniture pieces. In addition to a thorough reflection on the layout, a large portion of the furniture was specifically imagined and crafted by the agency MA DESIGN to fit harmoniously within the available space. We designed the kitchen, laundry room, integrated closets, and even a unique headboard, distinguished by a beautiful deep blue color. These bespoke creations added significant storage capacity to the apartment while maintaining its aesthetics and comfort.
Thanks to this personalized approach, the clients now enjoy an optimized and refined space that combines functionality and elegance, while meeting their specific needs.
