Renovation of a Haussmannian-Style Apartment, Interior Architecture

This beautiful vintage apartment of about 200 m², located not far from Place Aristide Briand, deserved to regain its former charm after being altered by trendy but cold décor, characterized by dark walls and a carpet that replaced the original hardwood floors.

Our mission was to restore the elegance of this space while modernizing it with a touch of luxury, thanks to high-end custom furniture. It was also important to honor the owner’s passion for contemporary art by showcasing his precious collection.

We started by transforming the entrance, which was once dark and falsely ‘designer.’ It was completely renovated to regain its classic character, featuring a magnificent herringbone parquet floor, moldings, and cornices, thus restoring the grandeur of this space.

The large living room, previously dominated by an enormous television screen, was also reimagined to become a true space for socializing. By preserving its original spirit while incorporating modern and functional elements, this space now exudes elegance and refinement. The new kitchen, designed in the same spirit as the living room, is both functional and aesthetic, striking a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.

Finally, we created a spacious master suite consisting of a bedroom with a large dressing room and a particularly luxurious bathroom. Every detail was carefully considered to offer comfort and sophistication, while maintaining the spirit of this classic apartment.

This project, a true meeting of the old and the contemporary, allowed us to restore the soul of this apartment while integrating contemporary elements for a result that is both elegant and modern, where luxury and art coexist harmoniously.
